The DCE of the North Tongu District Hon Osborne Divine Fenu along with his entourage comprising of the District Director of Education and other key staff in the assembly and the Education directorate on the 8th of August 2023 toured the various BECE centers in the District. They paid a courtesy call on the stakeholders involved in the smooth running of the examination protocols and also admonished the candidates to give out their best and carefully adhere to all the rules. This year saw a total number of 2,352 students sitting for the exam. Out of that number were a total of 1137 females and 1215 males. There were a total of 9 centers across the districts with 80 schools duly represented.Out of the 80 schools, there were 57 public schools and 23 private schools. At the end of the five days, the examination came to a successful closure with no reported incidences.
