HUMAN RESOURCE DEPARTMENT ORGANIZES TWO DAY TRAINING WORKSHOP ON THE USE OF PAYROLL SOFTWARE.

The North Tongu District Assembly organized a two-day training program on August 1st and 2nd, 2022, to teach staff how to use the AchievePayroll software. The software will be used to process staff salaries and generate pay slips via text and email, as well as assist in the calculation and deduction of tier 2 and 3. The training was facilitated by Paul Opoku-Nkrumah of Nextit and was supported by the District Co-ordinating Director. The goals of the training were to give officers the ability to remotely view payroll data, securely email and SMS pay stubs, and automatically backup data to defend against viral assaults and failed hard drives. Five participants from the Human Resource/Finance departments and MIS divisions participated in the training, which was successful but faced an obstacle of intermittent network instability. The participants expressed satisfaction with the training and suggested that periodic trainings like this one should be done again in the future.
