As part of strategies in ensuring that the Office of the Local Government Service (LGS) realizes its goals and objectives of improving staff performance in the Local Government Service, the Human Resource Department of the North Tongu District Assembly organized a one-day training Program on Local Government Protocols for all staff on the 31st of March 2021.Service Delivery Standards, Ethics, Values and Code of Conduct were the main topics treated.

The training Program was facilitated by the Ag. District Co-ordinating Director of the North Tongu District Assembly, A.M. Awal Suhuyini. Present at the training program were the District Chief Executive (DCE), various Heads of Departments/Units and their staff.

The overall aim of the program was to improve the knowledge of staff of the Assembly on service delivery standards, ethics, values and code of conducts of LGS at the Assembly and the community at large. The workshop facilitator, A.M. Awal Suhuyini touched on the Service Delivery Standards to be upheld in the Local Government Service.

The session was very interactive and followed a participatory learning approach in order to allow for the expression of opinions.
