The President's nominee for the position of District Chief Executive (DCE) for the North Tongu District  on the 5th of October was given a hundred percent endorsement by Assembly members in the on-going nation-wide confirmation of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs).

In his acceptance speech, the new DCE Hon. Divine Osborne Fenu expressed his utmost gratitude to all stakeholders and  pledged to work with all and sundry to achieve the collective goals and objectives of the District.

Present at the ceremony were the Hon. Volta Regional Minister and Member of Parliament for the North Tongu District Assembly who urged all to give the newly elected District Chief Executive their unwavering support to push the District forward.
