On Thursday the 2nd of December 2021, the second general assembly meeting of the third session of the North Tongu District was held at the District Court premises. The DCE addressed the house on the state of issues in the District. He also highlighted the various developmental projects both ongoing and completed by the Assembly.

Pressing issues of the Assembly were discussed through healthy dialogues by Honorable Assembly members,the presiding member, the Honorable DCE and DCD and the various heads of departments and units.

A major highlight of the meeting was the Consideration and approval of the 2022 -2025 Medium Term Development Plan Draft, the 2022 Annual Action Plan Draft, the 2022 Composite Budget Draft and the 2022 Fee-Fixing Resolution Draft which were all duly considered and approved by the House.

In his closing address, the Hon DCE thanked the house for acting with utmost decorum throughout theproceedings and urged Hon members to continue to cooperate and be dedicated to their service in order to enable the current Assembly to move the District forward.
